I have a dejavu Cd ( DVRECD 48), reference edition featuring Charlie Parker " The Story "?

But having lost the booklet am not able to find the details of the recorded works, the Cd was released in Italy by dejavu company, have tried Wiki without any sucess, help please.

    the thing with bird is that virtually every gig he ever did has been recorded (quite often badly) and knocked out somewhere or other along the way.

    even the dodgy performances.

    he suffers from the shoddy product curse,CDs and LPs knocked out to make someone a few quid on the side long after his death.

    the quality of these discs is often awful and the details sketchy.

    you stand more of a chance if yours is either a) an official release put out during bird's lifetime or b) a proper go at featuring his genius.

    lots of "cheap shots" have been issued over the years as a way of making a quick buck.

    i mention this because deja vu have a name for getting the cheapest recordings available,packaging it up knocking it out.

    if you load the CD into your computer then windows music player (from my experience,anyway) always shows up a full tracklist and the credited composer/s.
