How do I take the blade off a lawnmower?

I am trying to take the blade off of a lawnmower how do I do that?

Update:

and if I were to put it back on do I have to use some special sort of wrench or does it easily just screw back on?

The previous answerers offered good advise but if the worst comes to the worst heat the bolt with a torch and squirt oil on it while it's blazing hot! That should do the trick in any instance.

Disconnect the spark plug.Block the blade so it won't turn. Find a large wrench to fit on the bolt (plus a cheater or hammer) and go at it.If penetrating oil, cheater, hammer can't loosen the bolt then torch or grind off the head of the bolt (then replace).

Take the sparkplug out of the lawnmower.

Take the bolts off of the blade.
