How does Wikileaks know that the leaked info they receive is actual fact?

In other words...how do they know someone isn't submitting complete crap???

Update:

Hmmm...looks like I asked a "stumper"!

    Overheard conversations:

"I see that Ahmadinajad used to be hasheesh smoker"

    "Where'd you see that?"

    "On the wikileeks docs"

"Always looked like a hippy to me, anyway"

If you go for relative truth, then anything goes.

It's not really a stumper. If the website was nothing but "crap" then why would the government be going through so much trouble to tell people not to look at the website and to have the website taken down? If it was crap then the government wouldn't care about it.

They just dump a bunch of papers on the web. They don't (and never claimed to) verify the actual content.
