WiFi Printer unknown?
I got this HP 6500 wifi printer that works on some of my printers but not my IBM laptop running XT. "My Computer" lists the scanner part under scanners and cameras, and it works by wifi, but it lists the printer under "network Drives", but if you click on it it is unavailable. I have tried re-installing, but it doesn't find any printers, but the scanner works, so I know it's communicating with the device in general.

Turn on your printer and then browse the printer to the wireless setting and search for the network. You need to enter the login information for your network, if needed, in to the printer. This will connect your printer to your network. Then go to ‘Control panel’, ‘Printers’, ‘Printer manager’. Then click on the ‘Add printer’, click ‘Next’, click ‘Browse’, then click ‘Next’. Look for the printer that you connected earlier and if the printer typically has the name of the manufacturer, followed by the name of the printer model. Click on the printer, then click ‘Next’, follow the rest of the wizard’s prompts.
