Monte Carlo DRL Problems How can I fix it?

I have a 01 Monte that just started flipping out with the DRL. The headlights flip back and forth from running lights to regular headlights as I go down the road. This happens at dusk, dawn and at dark. I overide it by pulling out the switch. The fuse is good. What should I do next?

Update:

Clarifying... I pull the switch to manually turn on the lights so the DRL can't switch them back. Should I replace the manual switch, the DRL resistor or what?

Short in the headlight switch? Check it by substitution. Most likely this is your problem, switches wear out from frequency of use.

The FWD series of Montes were junk, lots of short cuts and cheap materials used to build them. Best years were from 1970-1977, the first and second generations of the RWD production line.
