Long or short chapters while reading a FanFic?
I was wondering because I'm working on one and my chapters seem to be getting longer and longer XD so I don't know, do you prefer long or short chapters while reading FanFics?

To me it doesnt matter how long or short, when the storyline needs to change to a different subject I make a new chapter. Check out my childrens book https://www.createspace.com/Preview/1074648

I love love love long chapters on Fanfic- as long as everything is well done, and there are absolutely no grammatical or spelling errors in the fanfiction. I have a hard time when something is spelled wrong or there's a grammatical error and I spend literally 5 to 10 minutes just trying to figure out what it was originally supposed to be.
Every-time I read a fanfic I was waiting like months, days, or weeks for- I'm literally jumping in the air, and I'm even more happy if it's a long chapter- since I love to read more and more and I just never want it to end- which is a downside when it comes to Fanfic, always having to wait for the chapter to come up.
Short chapters are only aloud when it's an announcement, short-story collection, short story, drabble, drabble collection, one-shot, or one-shot collection. Other than that- keep the long chapters going!

It depends. I personally see FanFics as cool little story's you can read in between more serious stuff. I don't know why but I find a novel far less intimidating then a long FanFic. I write FanFics and try to keep my chapters to a minimum. Knowing me I most likely broke this little rule of mine without noticing, but I try to keep chapters to 2,000 words on FanFics, and that's what I prefer when it come to the chapters. Although if the plot is enthralling enough longer works.

long! because most people
take about a week to update
and put a new chapter up so
when they post a long chapter
i feel like it gives me more to
read, and (more time) think
about the chapter. so it keeps
me busy until the next chapter
is posted. :) sorry if that made
no sense.
