The reason i want to know is my Ex sister in law is in hiding and shes worried about my brother finding out her information and she is being protective and wont let me send my niece a christmas present so im hoping she will let me do it the amazon wishlist way because then i wont know anything about where she lives right? i just need her link or something like that?

Make sure her wishlist is set to "public". There is an option to "hide" the mailing address from public view, just look for the option to hide or show the mailing address or even input a different address if you want.
If she opts for this, the site instructions are real easy to follow.

If it's on your wish list, it's just a link to the item. You'll still have to pay for it through your amazon account and they'll need your address or they can't ship it to you. You can always call a friend and change the shipment address to their house in all of the checkout procedure.

When I purchase a gift for someone the item is not being removed from their list, I thought the person that list the item would still see it on their list but other would not be able to see it.
If this is not the way it works what keeps people from duplicating orders?
