Which name do you like better for a boy?

Question

I am due in less then 16 weeks and am having a baby boy.  My husband and I can't really agree on a name.  

He really likes Jacob Michael and although I like the name Jacob, I think it'll be a little ridiculous as our two dogs are Bella and Jasper (yes, they were named after Twilight characters and no, my husband hasn't even seen Twilight so he has no idea that Jacob is another character).

I like Joshua Michael better.  Which name do you like the most?  Michael will be the middle name as that is my husband's first name and that was our compromise instead of naming the baby Michael Jr.

If you have any other recommendations for first names, please let me know.  I'm not stuck on a J name, but I really only like traditional names for boys so no modern/unique recommendations, please.

I like Joshua Michael.  It sounds very distinguished.  When he hits his teens, his friends will call him Josh.  When he gets older, he will thank you for giving him a cool, yet traditional name.

I actually prefer Jacob Michael - I've always preferred the name Jacob to Joshua, and I also think it flows better with Michael as a middle name. :]

I think it would be a bit odd if you named your son Jacob (with Bella and Jasper being your pets) I love the name Joshua so much! Josh is a really nice nickname. So Joshua would be the better of the two.

Personally I like Joshua more than Jacob because I see so many of them around now a days.  One of my 3 year old sons very good friends is a Jacob and a couple of the girls at work named their boys that.  
I shouldn't talk though I have a Jack (given name John Allen) which is very popular as well. 

I also have a Charlie and I do love that name!

i like joshua michael it sounds nice but i think that michael sounds way better as a first name you should name him michael and just pick a different middle name you could always call him by his middle name.
