What Are Hair Layers?
I'm a guy, and I'm just wondering what exactly are hair layers, could someone please explain it to me? Also, I want to change my hairstyle into a kind of side swept look, so how should I ask them how to cut it? Thanks. (:

If a persons hair is cut straight across on the bottom edge it is not layered. If you look at a persons hair and it looks like the hair on top is shorter than the hair on the bottom the hair has layers.
