We're not exactly a desirable free agent destination. Our stadium is falling apart, it's visually repulsive, hitters hate our foul territory, it's cold and windy at night, and we don't exactly sell out too often. I can't really see why many free agents would think Oakland when wanting to move. We're going to have to settle for left overs again, wait it out until everyone signs with who they want so we can proceed to sort through who is left. Hopefully either Guererro or Lee or Matsui or Magglio is still there. I don't care though because I think were going to be pretty good, we got Anderson and Cahill, if Gio steps up then were set, all we got to do is get better with what we got. As far as Beane is concerned, he's made a few questionable moves like Bradley and Holliday which cost us Ethier and Gonzalez, two players that would have had us competing for the playoffs last year and in the future, but when you don;t have the resources then you are forced to do things like that and ultimately we went .500 and totally rebuilt a club in 3 years which is outstanding and Billy and his team should get a lot of credit for that.

One team has come out on precise of a commerce with Beane and that must be the Atlanta Braves who have been given Tim Hudson for Charles Thomas, Dan Meyer, and Juan Cruz. Cruz did no longer somewhat do something particular with the A's, Charles Thomas had one stable 365 days in Oakland, yet failed depressing in his 2nd, and Dan Meyer hasn't even made a dent for the A's. So 2 out of the three gamers they have been given for Hudson at the instant are not even on the team. The A's did commerce Juan Cruz to the Diamondbacks for Brad Halsey who grew to develop right into an honest left exceeded reliever, yet he purely lasted a 365 days with the A's. So, the Braves actual have been given the greater appropriate end of the deal. I disagree with the Milton Bradley deal for Andre Ethier the commerce has been a wash. Ethier particular has the means to be a geat hitter yet hasn't somewhat tapped into that and constantly has been platooning with others he hasn't executed something yet to cajole the Dodgers he's properly worth beginning familiar. Bradley did particularly properly with the A's and develop into their terrific hitter interior the playoffs. additionally, the A's have been given a stable reliever out of the commerce that despatched Bradley to the Padres for Andrew Brown.

Their lineups these past few years are always hysterical, Kouzmanoff, and acient Ryan Sweeney, and Jason Kendall's backup..?! I don't even think Dallas Braden is that good.
