Do your kids have American Girl dolls?

I had them as a kid, but when I was older. I got my first one for my 8th birthday. I don't think the dolls are intended for girls under age 7 or 8 since they're more expensive. Plus, they all have their own historical stories and you have to be a certain age to understand and appreciate that. A lot of parents who hang out here seem to have toddlers and younger kids, so theirs probably don't have AG dolls. But yeah, I had (and still have) three American Girls: Molly, Kirsten, and Samantha. :) They're beautiful dolls! And I still love all their stories.

I never did get to go to American Girl place when I was into the dolls. But when I was 14, my family and I were on vacation in New York City, so we stopped by the American Girl place there. Even though I wasn't really into playing with the dolls anymore, it was really fun to go since I had never gotten to go before!

Well I'm not a parent, but as a kid I didn't have American Girl dolls. Wasn't really into dolls that much for a girl. But my friends LOVED them lol. My friend brought me to the American Girl Place when it was her birthday at 7 years old. I got to take an American Girl doll around with me, was around all the American Girl dolls, and whenever I went to my friend's she always loved it when we played with those dolls. Truthfully, they didn't interest me. Maybe because I've grown up with older brothers.

No, they dont. They would most likely destroy them so I'm not spending that kind of money on a doll until I know they wont wreck them. I used to have a few of them growing up. I loved American Girls lol. And yes, I grew up in New York, so I've been to the store hundreds of times.

Nope. She loves the Corolle dolls better. Soft and huggable.
