missed 3 birth control pills?

i am taking lo-ovral birth control pills. my toddler son misplaced my pack and i missed monday, tuesday and wednesdays doses. i looked this up on the lo-ovral website and this is what it said:

"If you miss three "active" pills in a row during any of the first 3 weeks, throw out the rest of the pack and start a new pack on the same day if you are a Day 1 starter. If you are a Sunday starter, keep taking a pill every day until Sunday. On Sunday, throw out the rest of the pack and start a new one that day."

I am not a dumb person, i haven't slept in 2 days and i have an ear infection and sinus infection and no matter how many times i read this, i cannot seem to understand. so in other words, can someone please dumb this down for me and explain what I am supposed to do if I am a Sunday starter? and how will this affect my menstral cycle if at all?

I can see your problem, not the world's clearest instructions!

I think it means 'keep taking a pill every day until Sunday, then throw out that pack and start the new one'. Not sure what happens to your cycle from this.

the fail safe is to use additional contraception (if you have the energy for sex!) until you can speak to a doctor to check.

i could ask your Dr simply by fact some solutions you get on right here won't be the main appropriate ingredient, and additionally you do not desire to wind up pregnant back whilst your not making plans it. The p.c.. doesn say what to do, it relatively is distinctive for various cases in the process the month, 1st, 2d, third week of pills, i understand what to do with ignored pills in a row, as for lacking one pill, take it as quickly as you remember the following day you forgot it, then take your pill for that day on the traditional time you attempt to take it. continuously use back up approach once you have ignored a pill for 7 days after that ignored pill. have fun with ur nights

Start taking the pills until sunday and then on sunday start a new packet and keep taking them till the packet is finished, it will mess up this months period and next period will come when packet is finished and pray you are not already pregnant if you have missed 3 pills.

okay since u started on a sunday take those pills that u missed until sunday hits, and then throw away the pills u have left and start a fresh pack.Hope this helps ya.
