Magic the Gathering - Venser Control?

I would add about 2 more lands to your deck, and I would use Celestial Colonnade over Glacial Fortress (colonnade is amazing in control decks). Guard Gomazoa isn't as helpful as you'd think, because he still dies to Lightning Bolt. I'm assuming you don't have Jace 2.0, but I'd take out 1 copy of Venser (you're likely to draw 2 of him i the course of a game, and that makes 1 copy dead in your hand) and add some other plainswalkers. Jace 1.0 is still good (draw engine and kills Jace 2.0), and so are Giddeon Jura and Elspeth. Sideboard the Leylines only good against red decks), and use Seagate Oracle instead of Augury Owl (Seagate Oracle lets you draw a card). Otherwise, not a bad deck design.

As a sidenote, add Frost Titan if you can, but good luck with finding him. He's much more popular than Gideon or Venser.

I would run gideon and sunblast angel to wrath again and again.
