  • Is Fate/Stay Night available for PS Vita in the US?

I've heard good things about the visual novel, Fate/Stay Night, and it apparently got rereleased for the Vita in Japan. Is it possible to get the English version in the US on the PS Vita?

  • I found this on my son's computer. Does he have mental problems?

My son has ADD. Does have any other problems. If so, where should I go for help?

But all of these ideas treat symptoms. The only way I’m getting through this is if I address the problem. But at this point, the only thing I know is that the problem is something in my head. I know I have ADD; I know I crave stimulation. What I’m not sure about is if there’s anything else, or if I still can’t deal with ADD.

Sometimes, I feel like I can’t do any work. I need to do something, anything, other than what I’m being required to do. But when I take a break, this feeling doesn’t go away. Sometimes, after a while, I can force myself to get back to work. Sometimes I can’t, and I just don’t want to. And when I do go back to work, if I’m still stuck, I’m more likely to go back to whatever I was doing before than to keep hammering away at what feels like an unbreakable metal.

What is my passion? Where is it? Why did it disappear? I keep asking myself this. I don’t know what I enjoy. I like games, puzzles, logic, and winning. Why can’t I apply this to school? A part of me wants to. But part of me doesn’t seem to desire this. This part just wants to sit in a corner and do nothing all day. And I don’t know where it came from, or how to get rid of it.

And here ‘this part’ is right now. All I scream is “don’t make me do work!” I don’t care what I do. I just want it to be fun. I want to read, play games, watch movies, and flop. I don’t want to be writing this. I just want to be

I’m struggling to take control back from this part of my brain. This interchange happens all the time. When this part of my brain latches on to something like work, it doesn’t feel like work anymore. It becomes fun. But when I hit a problem, suddenly I don’t want to work anymore.

I know one reason I don’t get much sleep sometimes. Sleeping isn’t fun. I keep hearing “go, go, do something, keep feeding stimulation” in my mind. When I’m having fun, why should I stop? It doesn’t happen every night, but it happens often enough.

What is this? I read back through what I just wrote. I’m not even sure. I followed my own train of thought, and I don’t understand what I found.

  • MTG: What are the top 5 hottest nonrares to trade?

I've been away from my LGS for a while, but I've got a substantial collection of cards, and I want to know what cards besides rares/foils I should be putting in my trade binder. The cards should be ones you have trouble finding/trading for.

It doesn't have to be exactly 5 cards, either. More cards = moar bettar, right?

  • D&D: Is this plot twist too much?

The party I'm DMing for is currently in a parallel universe from which they started. They also travelled back in time several months in the universe change. One of the PC's (Frank), listed, in his backstory, that he was a former king of a nation. This country was ruined by a mysterious, dimension-hopping individual (Lucian), and Frank's character is now seeking revenge. However, I stipulated that Frank's character had lost most of his memories, and no longer remembered much about (a) how his country was ruined, or (b) anything about Lucian, beyond the fact that he had an artifact that let him travel between dimensions (and presumably, universes).

Now, my plot twist, which I was going to slowly reveal, was that Lucian is actually a future version of Frank's character attempting to set up a stable time loop. Everything Lucian has done was actually for the greater good. By ruining the kingdom, Lucian prevented an eldritch abomination from being released, and set Frank's character on his quest. If Frank's character cooperates with Lucian, Frank's character will eventually finish the stable time loop. However, Lucian needs to regain the dimension-hopping artifact (something the rest of the party opposes) to finish his part of the loop. Frank would have to sabotage the party from within, while appearing to be helping the party.

Is this too complex, or would it work, if I took most of the reveals slowly?

Also, I have other major plot elements centered around the rest of the party. It's not just Frank.

  • How much would it cost to buy good hardwood in Panama City?

The hardwood would be used in a new building. Give the price per unit volume, if possible, as well as the type of wood. Cite your sources, please!

  • D&D 3.5: What powers can reduce an opponent's saving throws?

I'm building a lvl. 3 psion (telepath), and I want to have access to powers that make my Mind Thrust (and at lvl. 5, energy ball) more likely to hit enemies. Please list the power, level of power, and sourcebook (if it isn't from EPH). Please keep the powers to lvl. 4 or lower (I know I can only manifest lvl. 2 powers at most right now, but I'm planning ahead).

Molten-Tail Masticore seems to show up in a lot of Elf deck sideboards. What matchups is he brought in against?

  • How bad is this Yugioh deck?

Giving a rating is pointless. Please give specific suggestions about what to change. Yes, I know this deck is above the minimum card count; that's why I'm posting it. I'm not worried about a sidedeck just yet. I already know the deck needs more card advantage, but I'm not sure what to add.

  • MTG sideboard questions?

    Mono-red sideboard:

    3 Dragon's Claw (RDW)

    1 Earthquake (Jund)

1 Obsidian Fireheart (UW control, or any other control deck at this point)

1 Chandra Nalaar (UW control, or any other control deck at this point)

    3 Leyline of Punishment (white)

    3 Flame Slash (Mythic, control)

    3 Forked Bolt

    1. For a Mono-red deck, is it worthwhile to use Combust in sideboard, or is Flame Slash a better card to use? The only real threats that Combust can destroy, but Flame Slash cannot, are Baneslayer Angel and Sovereigns of Lost Alara, and I only have space for 1 of the 2 cards in sideboard.

    2. What should I have in sideboard to deal with Jund? I need more than 1 extra Earthquake (3 in mainboard). My main problem with Jund is Sprouting Thrinax, but I don't have an answer at this time.

    3. Should I use Cunning Sparkmage instead of Forked Bolt to deal with Mythic or NLB?

    4. What sites are best for keeping up on the metagame?

Answer as many questions as you can. No, I will not give a full decklist, but I will say that I despise the Summons/Bushwhacker combo. If you don't know what this means, don't answer the questions.

  • MTG: Red deck wins help?

Could you help fine-tune my red deck wins deck? I've already won one FNM with the deck, including beating what looked like a competitive Jund deck 2-0 (I didn't see much beyond numerous creature lands, bloodbraid elf, putrid leech, maelstrom pulse, sprouting thrinax, and blightning, but since the deck only lost to mine, I would assume it was highly competitive). The sideboard needs the most work.

    Cards: 60

    4 Goblin Guide

    4 Hellspark Elemental

    4 Kiln Fiend

    4 Ball Lightning

    1 Hell's Thunder

2 Elemental Appeal (do not say that I need to switch out these for Hell's Thunder. I'm already working on it)

    Creatures:19

    4 Lightning Bolt

    4 Burst Lightning

    4 Searing Blaze

    3 Earthquake

    2 Staggershock

    2 Seismic Strike

    Other spells: 19

    17 Mountain

    3 Teetering Peaks

    2 Arid Mesa

    Land: 22

    Sideboard:

    2 Staggershock

    2 Seismic Strike

    4 Magma Spray

    2 Devastating Summons

    4 Dragon's Claw

    1 Earthquake

Please give specifics and reasons behind any changes you suggest, and what you would sideboard in or out against traditional deck setups for each of the currently competitive decks in Standard (Jund, white weenie, blue/white control, bant, mirror match).

  • What are some good anime?

Please give 3-5 anime that you enjoy, and the sites you use to watch them. Do not list anime that are overly popular, like Naruto, Bleach, or FMA. Then, if you want, watch some of the anime that others have listed.

  • Anyone know how to build a TurboFog deck (MTG)?

I'm looking to build a green/white deck that has at least 4 different fog-type effects (safe passage, angelsong, Holy Day, etc). I don't care what format, but the deck needs to have some strategy that it uses to win (without stalling until someone decks themself). Pricewise, nothing like Elspeth or Baneslayer, but no restrictions otherwise.
