my wife pisses me off! why is it that i never seem to feel appreciated? im sick of always being the bad guy?
everytime i feel as though im making progress my wife always seems to find a way to show me that im not doing so good, this kills my confidence and not only that theres always me having an issue with something she says let her tell it but then when i think about it she always has something to say or ask. i feel like i get interrogated and i hate it...not to mention the little things i do for her never get honorable mention and no matter what she does no matter big or small i always make it my business to thank her and show my appreciation, i've been married for two years now and seperated from her twice...i'm trying to live righteously and do what is right in God's sight as well as for the betterment of myself and my children. i'm just exasperated with always eing the bad guy or the jerk when all i do is share my feelings that i was accused of never doing. now that i am to no avail it hindrs more than help. i am really at my wits end, and of course she would probably say the same. i just feel as if my wife talks entirely too much and always has something to say shy of positive in most situations...dont get me wrong i love my wife but everything she does is irking the hell out of me. so much to the point that i dont even want to have sex with her, and thats a dangerous place to be...so really i need no answers, other than talking to God i just needed to vent. maybe it'll all be fine one day but as of right now im tired as hell of it all!!!!
thanks guys for all input and opinions...no matter what im going to love my wife and try my hardest to make things work no matter what it cost me, love is not a feeling always it's a definitive decision that sticks with you forever when you're married. this realization brings back to my attention 1 corinthians 13 where it talks about what love is, and in that chapter its mainly consisting of what we are unable to do if we don't seek the heart and mind of Christ, its impossible. so seeking his will is first and foremost, and yes open healthy communication for us both is key i do agree so, i wont fold to my frustrations and i wont back out of what took gruesome effort to build, and i dare not go out on the prowl to find something on the side or leave my wife to find a new one because 1: i wish i would invest time into someone else, PLEASE! NO WAY! AND 2: beyond what the issues are my wife is irreplaceable...so i'm taking my wife on a date tonight and show that true love and faith conquer

You guys need to sit & have some heart to heart talk about you issues. No other way to settle it than to be open & honest with each other. counseling & prayer work wonders try them both..God Bless

It won't get better if you DONT do anything so the question is what to do. The old solutions of counseling and dialog need to be tried, but if that doesnt take, leaving is youre only real option then. Or finding a little on the side. But that gets messy and can create even more mess more often than not.
Wish you well. Your situation sucks

I think you need to go to marriage counseling. I know everyone says that, but it can truly help your marriage. My husband and I used to have the same problems. He used to tell me that I put him down, but I didn't really know what he meant. I just communicated the only way I knew how. I never realized the affects of my negative words, until we took couples counseling. I have been married for 12 years, so I know that a lot has to go into a marriage before it can work. I don't think your wife means any harm, she just doesn't really know how to communicate.

Yep, she should be thanking you for all that you do. I am going through the same thing with my fiance (I realize engagement is not the same as marriage), and I am wondering if our situation will end up as a failed marriage. She sounds like she is not taking you seriously for all that you do. It hurts to keep putting out and get no thanks and/or appreciation in return. She has a problem, and if you both don't get counseling for this, I would think things will look bleak otherwise.

Your MARRIAGE IS IN TROUBLE! Her fathers Biz has nothing to do with it period, it's all you! I would inform your wife the face book could be a deal breaker and a divorce could result from her indiscretions if it continues! I would also make sure her former Boyfriend know that problems will occur if he takes her up on the trip! I WOULD CANCEL ANY PLANS YOU MIGHT HAVE REGARDLESS AND MAKE THAT TRIP! Your marriage is sinking in quick sand and down in your gut you know it so work on your marriage before it ends with a divorce!

Trust me hun, I've tried with my husband as well. Always making you feel as if your not good enough, even when you try and make them feel good. I'm learning that it takes 2.. and as much as you want to be godly and to make it work for you or the kids, it is really up to them too..

Well that was a lot of venting. I hope you feel better now. Glad we could be of assistance for you to vent at... Does this mean we stood in for your wife when you really wanted to tell her all of this though? I feel abused now lol.
Sorry I hope you really feel better and get it worked out.
