I am trying to find my biological father. Ive been trying but have had no luck any suggestions?
I have been looking for him for more than a couple of years. And have had no luck. I don't have a ton of money and dont feel like I should have to pay 40.00 to use a person locator or look at my adoption info. Is there anyone that could help me please and my mom wont help she could care less :(

It doesn't cost anything to get your hands on your adoption information. You need to go to the courthouse you were adopted in; request your records. They can't charge you for them (at least in MI they don't) It'll take about six weeks for them to come in but after that you should be able to find your biological father. Just a word of warning though... you were taken for a reason. Don't forget that. And keep yourself grounded... I'd hate for you to picture this happy meeting where he's hugging you and you guys are crying and then he tells you he never wanted you to begin with and to get lost.
Source(s): Life experience. Adopted myself; contacted my biological family the minute I could... turned out to be such losers and waste of my time. I never talk to them anymore although I did convince my sister-in-law to name me guardian of her kids if something happens to her so they'd get a shot at a decent life... (She's seperated since then and in much better hands than my brother could have ever been)
