Should people lose the option of voting for no best answer?
It seems to me that a lot of people are voting for no best option even though there are good answers to the questions.

It seems bizzare to me that so many people don't bother selecting best answer in the first place. We also don't gain a point in voting for nobody so that doesn't make much sense either. Also if there are no genuinely decent answers selecting no best is best.
Short answer: No.

no they should have the option. It is the individuals response to the answer that the asker will judge. Power to the person.
