Why don't Facebook team understand their new layout is ugly?

What we all need to remember with Facebook is - its free and non-compulsory, so the general response to changes is - if you don't like it don't use it. I'm like you, I don't especially like the new one but I'm getting used to it.

I would also say that, each time there is a change in layout, there are hoardes of people complaining they don't like it. But I guarantee you, next time it changes those same people will say "we don't like it, give us the old one back!"

You can't please everyone all the time - the developers will be looking for ways to make the layout fresh and new, to attract new people. How many people will actually stop using it because of the layout? Very few, and the developers know this so they are concentrating on grabbing new people.

You can always contact them and express your displeasure, or join one of the hundreds of FB groups which don't like them but I don't honestly think it will make a whole of difference.

I totally agree mate, the new one is so rubbish! Thing is that you do have the option to change your OWN profile to the new one or the old one as it usually says:

"your friend X has the new profile, would you like to change to it too?"

So it is a choice and I guess if more people change it then facebook might completely change it but fingers-crossed people like you and I will resist and they will set it back to the traditional one

i dont comprehend if it replace into from the 70s, however the Twins uniforms that replace into like pink or blue stripes have been so gosh rattling gruesome., yet from this, i hated the Indians pink., merely undesirable.,

Because they think that OMG ITS SHINY AND NEW AND WE CAN SEE EVERYTHING means its good for them.
