Speakers not Working?

I have a Pioneer audio visual receiver that works fine but I can't get the speakers to work and I've tried everything. I know it's kind of old but can anyone help me with this?

    Try connecting a different speaker to troubleshoot the output. Maybe the speakers are bad? Assuming you have tried the volume switches and that the cables aren't damaged.
