1998 Jetta 2.0 Compressions are 180-190-150-180.?

Car warms up to Operational temp 197-203 within 5 minutes but does not overheat. What could cause both of these things.

Both? I see only one thing.

Now run a wet test on #3. Put about 20CC of engine oil in 3 and turn the engine over 10 times. then run the test. If it comes up to like 200 it is the piston and rings, if it doesn't change then pull the head to replace valves and seats. Not goin into a leak down test, so just understand when the head comes off to check/replace the valves, the headgasket gets replaced/inspected.

Cylinder your getting 150 on has problems. Time to pull head to see if valve is bad. Good luck

Thermostat may need to be replaced, or radiator may need to be flushed.

Go to the mechanic to check the coolant hoses because one of them might have a small leak in it or the radiator might start to get clogged and may need to be flushed.

This may be causing the slight overheating. IDK about the compression though.
