HTC wildfire or HTC Desire?

HTC wildfire does everything that the desire HD does but a little worse for example it has a slightly smaller screen as well as poorer resolution as it uses LEDs rather than the AMOLED(spelling?) technology, worse camera than the HD (not the regular) as well as a poorer processor however this things are barely noticeable unless you watch a lot of video on your phone or run loads of apps at once.

If you just are just in the market for a facebook terminal then the HTC wildfire will suit you perfectly with its handy widgets to allow to to see changes in facebook and twitter status's faster and easier.

The main clincher is that the wildfire is just £160 while the Desire HD will set you back around £475 a big difference, even if your on a contract your likely to get a better tariff with a cheaper phone so its always worth considering, personally I'm buying a wildfire as I can't really afford or want the slight boost in specs the desires boasts.

I have the HTC Desire and I am very happy with it. You should get the new version of it though: the HTC Desire HD - which is simply awesome :D Looks amazing, performs amazing and it's just must have.

Desire (even non-HD one) has a far superior screen to Wildfire. Go for that.
