how many haircuts do you do on mannequins in barber school?
i stared cutting hair at home to practice before barber school and used 2 mannequins ,, for a total of 4 different cuts 2 longer and then shortening up,, how many do they do in school before youget to real people??

It depends on the school and the state regulations.
In cosmetology school we had to do 200 cuts on a combination of mannequins and people.
Also most schools provide you with the mannequins they want you to use because they want everyone starting from the same point.

After freshmen class is when you get to work on real people, no matter how many haircuts you have done. Depending on the state requirements is how many haircuts you MUST do. In maine, The requirement is 200.
