How bad was this season of Dexter?

It was good up till the finale. I mean the finale wasn't that bad but it could have ended a lot better than it did!

This season was horrible in my opinion. Although, I am sure that it has something to do with the fact that last season was the best season ever. How the creators of Dexter thought they could move on from the Trinity Killer I have no idea. You can't top last season. So I guess in my head I have Dexter on a high level ever since last season but thats not fair. The creators always said from the beginning of the season that this season was more about dealing with the after math of last season. I like that they had Dexter show real human emotion at the end when Lumen leaves and I like that they opened the door to the fact that a "dark passenger" could just go away. It would be a great way for the series to close on when the time comes. Also, I like Deb and Quinn so I hope Quinn has learned his lesson and backed off Dexter. Not to mention Dexter now has something on Deb which is good because in a way that has to make Dexter love his sister even more and now she will have a glimpse into understanding why Dexter does what he does when the time comes for her to know what he really does.

I think it was not as bad as I it started out...but not as good as I expected it would be!!

I started to mildly like this season at about the third or fourth episode.

I also think that comparing the seasons is impossible because it's Dexter's journey and it has it's highs and lows. I agree that it would have been difficult to top last season but overall I am still sufficiently interested to be anticipating season 6~~~!!

I didn't like it at first but it got better, i was never a fan of lumen so I'm glad she's gone. As far as the finale nothing was going to top last seasons, and all of the other seasons didn't have shocking finales either just season 4, I'm hoping season 6 is better and I hope lumen never comes back

I will wait for the next Season.

I stopped watching it on the 5th episode because of lumen she ruined the show for me maybe when i'm done my exams i'll watch the episodes agian
