Some people who aren't good enough just disappear off the 'scene' - but he did record the soundtrack for the new Narnia movie. So many he's looking to go into acting or theatre. Alot of people who have been on shows like X factor end up pursuing a career in the theatre.

He came out as gay when some people hacked his Twitter account and wrote that he was gay then he decided to come out and in the open about being gay.
No it hasn't affected his sales but he may have lost a few girl fans.
He did appear on this years X Factor, he performed one of his singles on there.

Its what happens to most of the boy acts that leave X Factor....notice how they don't really try like shane ward and joe mceldry...probably same going to be the same with matt this year.

he sang on the xfactor a couple of weeks ago and hes been on the xtra factor.hes singing the title song on the new harry potter movie i think as well and doing some west end stuff.
