fiberglass outboard, count on at least 3500.

nadaguides.com lists dry hull weights, you need to add motor, rigging, gear, gasoline (at 6 lbs per gallon), batteries, couple hundred pounds for the trailer and 10% for contingency

Hi, the only way I can answer your question is if you know the draft of the boat. or i should say if you can calculate the volume of the draft. that is the volume of the boat that is below the water line you can calculate the weight. since 1 cubic foot of water weighs 62.5 lb's (fresh water). (salt water weighs 64 lb's)

sorry i did not read your question properly. total weight with trailer. - put it on a weight bridge

in 1968 i towed a 14ft plywood speed boat with a 20 hp merc, boat full of gear towed with a 1500 VW beetle.

the person who anwsered second: 3500 ? I would'nt have thought it weighed 3 and half tons

depends on the make, model, horsepower, size of the fuel tank, and trailer.

    boat should weigh about 1,000lbs

    motor (2stroke or 4 stroke) hp? 250 to 300lbs +

    trailer 400 to 500lbs

total weight range 1500 to1800lbs, note it could be much lighter if a minimal sized outboard and trailer is used.
