Do you think bugs are smarter then us?
According to a science programs I am watching on TV about the probable constructs of an space alien. They suggest that more then two eyes take to much brain power. I believe a spider has eight if my memory serves me right. Then they used a centipede model and said the same about brain power. Their final model they determined would look like us. in my opinion certain scientist make fools of themselves with dumb statements. Either that or we should be studying bugs to make supper computers.
To the one that wrote about hopping spiders. get an exterminator they are known to be extremely poisonous. I think they are called hobo.

Yeah as far as conserving what they have. but not in terms with advancement.
I think keeping things simple is usually better.

No bugs are NOT smarter than us. Some are stronger in a way, like certain bugs can lift up to 100's of their kind just on their backs. That's like a human carrying 100's of humans over their back lol but no human can do that.

I believe they have extra brain power just for there eyes. We have more brain power for critical thinking and creativity! Really we only need 1 eye.

I tried to kill a spider the other day. Instead of running away...it stopped..turned in my direction..and jumped at me..
Honest...so I don't know about smart..but I'm sure some of them are maniacal...

Smarter in different ways. We should be happy they have not noticed us. Smarter may be the wrong word, though. They have their gifts according to their environment. I would not want to be a termite but I bet they don't want to be me.

They have better brain power to suit their surroundings.
They have alot of eyes because they need it to live. Its gives them heinsight vision to keep them out of danger.
