How do I get more info on a 2011 Mustang GT?

I am going to buy a new 2011 Mustang in January. I'm having a bit of a problem deciding between the GT and the GT 500 (I owned a 2003 svt Cobra). But mainly, regarding the GT (which I favor, because I like its "balance" of cost and performance and mpg), I'm having a hard time with my local dealer getting him to talk to me about aftermarket stuff ("You'll void the warrantee!"). I really want to buy from my neighborhood dealership, but I can't get them to get their heads into Mustang performance. Any suggestions?

If you are looking for easy bolt on performance, a cold air intake, tune and cat back or axle back exhaust will get you in the 450 HP range. If you want to compete with the GT500s, procharger just put out a supercharger that makes over 600 HP at the flywheel. You are correct alot of the dealerships are not talking about aftermarket parts on these mustangs yet. If you want to see the products we offers, check out this link,

Well if you are looking for a GT then to upgrade it, you might as well get the GT500. Aleady upgraded with enough power. Still has the bumper to bumper as well. After that three year time frame there are alot of extras you can add. Some stuff to add without voiding anything would be better plugs maybe a cold air intake. Check out www.moddedmustangs.com great site with alot of info on it for all your mustang needs.

Go to Ford.com, or call the marking assistance phone number in the back or your owner's manual. You can get a Mustang catalog with the different trims and engines, and also ask about a performance parts catalog, they should be able to get you one with Ford parts.

.. or call 800-222-1020. You local Chevy dealer would be happy to get you into a Camaro SS and provide a GM Goodwrench Performance Parts Catalog!

    :-D
