What's up with Angel?

Angel's a Vampire with a soul cursed by gypsy's, not a werewolf. Oz is the werewolf. He does love her and she loves him. She killed him to save the world, but he'll come back from hell, though he wont be acting himself being traumatized an all. Plus he was acting mean to her, since he lost his soul and became a evil vampire called Angelus.

Angel wasn't killed-- the sword wasn't made of wood. He got pulled into a dimension throgh Acathla's mouth. Time runs differently there and he's been there for countless years, not just a few months. He's been tortured and is like a wild man. Buffy will slowly help him. He's not a werewolf or anything like that, just wild. Buffy is his shining star, his light of hope.

no, Angel has been in a Hell dimension for hundreds of years and has basically turned into an "animal" he doesn't remember his old life or even how to be "alive". Buffy is nursing him back to health. He will slowly come back to being his old self, cursed and everything. he's not a werewolf. i was pretty confused by that too when i first saw it

She sent him to a hell demension where time moves slower so he was in hell for hundreds of years. Being in hell that long damaged him and it takes him time to recover.
