Has this ever happened to you?

Last winter I was at my friends house, and we got really drunk and I passed out in this big comfy chair in the living room, and I had my friends blanket on me because it was so so cold, and I had brought the space heater really close to me. the next day we saw that while I was in my drunken slumber, the blanket was melting on to the heater!! A huge section of it had completley melted into the heater, and we were amazed It didnt catch on fire. I was so close to a possible death and didnt even know it.

Update:

yeah that;s the smart thing to do, but I was so drunk I dont even remember doing it.

Not to a blanket but I had a puffy coat that I set on fire luckily it just burnt the outside material. My parents weren't very happy to buy me a new coat at the time.
