Is it February yet?! 987654321 had to do that to get the 20 characters.?

I just watched some coverage of the tire testing on NASCAR.com and have noticed that most of the drivers are saying mostly positive things about the new surface. I also noticed that the new front end without that stupid looking splitter on the cars. In my opinion they look a hell of a lot better then before. Anyway, just wanted to see what the rest of you thought about the new front ends and the new surface at Daytona. Also is anybody else ready for the season to start as much as I am? Imho I think this next season will probably be one of the most competitive and exciting seasons in a long, long, time. One more thing do you think that NASCAR is making the right move by making the cars look more like Stock cars again?

I 'm always excited around this time of year and looking forward to a new season but there is lots of racing before the Daytona 500. The Dakar rally starts on Jan 1st and runs for 17 days and then there is the 24hr race at Daytona just after that. I know not everyone likes other types of racing besides NASCAR but for real speed freaks like me that watch everything I'm Readyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. :)

I like the look of the new nose but I don't know if I'm really any more interested in NASCAR with it than without it. But it can't hurt.

And my least favorite driver was involved in the only wreck - the new kid on the RCR block. Big surprise.
