Please Answer! Girls and GUYS?
My guy friend and I have gotten really close in the past month, and he tells me who he likes. One day, he wouldn't tell me the new girl he liked, and hinted that her name was similar to Sophia (My name is Shika). Since then we've been flirting, he's asked me for my number, and he made it pretty clear that he was probably gonna ask me to the dance. After a while, I started liking him too! But 2 days ago he came into class with his and another girl's name on his hand. That day I could FEEL a physical barrier between us that he wouldn't dare to cross. Today I found out that he had asked her to the dance! Now I'm really confused.. he made it pretty obvious that he liked me.. but he asked her to the dance.. What gives?
Nope, her name was nothing close to Sophia..

I think he just wanted to get to know you and be friends. If he liked you I don't see a reason for why he didn't ask you to the dance. Maybe you didn't give him enough hints? But it seems like you did. What is this other girl's name? Is it close to Sophia?

Teenage guys are flighty. You can never count on them until they start to mature. My guess is that girls' name was more similar to Sophia than yours.

How about you ask him what's up? If he's supposed to be your friend, hopefully he'll be sensitive to your feelings if you tell him how you feel. Ask him directly if he likes/liked you. Tell him how and what you're feeling!

Maybe he's just testing you to see how you react, he wants to know if you really do like him because he isn't sure :)
