to throw rocks is to criticise others. and to live in a glass house is to be vunerable to your own criticism. therefore it is like being a hypocrite; telling people off and you are just as bad as them. this is because people can see the worng in others but not themselves

it's about being a hypocrite. they shouldn't throw stones because if someone threw stones at them, their houses would shatter just the same as anyone else's.

It means You shouldn't criticize Others- when You are Guilty of doing the Same things ! :(
