You should call the doctor who performed the surgery.

Some gas after a colonoscopy is normal, however I am more concerned about the watery stools and cramping several days later. I'm not going to venture guesses about what's causing it, because I don't have enough information over Y!A.

Call that doctor -- if the office is closed for the weekend, there will still be a way to contact the doctors. There may be a live answering service, or their recorded message could tel you another number to call after hours. This problem is enough to call them after hours to ask about it -- so you should do that now.

Hi, I can support you with this! First of all, do not be afraid, for the colonoscopy or the viable prognosis. It does not mechanically ought to be Cancer. OK, approximately the colonoscopy, I've had the method performed two times. Believe me whilst I inform you it is no gigantic deal. The day earlier than the colonoscopy, they ought to wholly blank out your colon which means that no forged meals of any variety and for one hour in the course of the day simply earlier than the method, you'll be able to ought to guzzle a gallon of this exact laxative that they deliver you combined with water. It's now not that it tastes truly unhealthy, however it is truly thick and tough to get down. And then for the relaxation of the afternoon and that night, I might now not transfer greater than 10 ft from the bathroom. When it comes out, it comes out! This section is way worse than the genuine colonoscopy itself. You'll examine into the clinic and they are going to installed IV in you, they are going to deliver you a sedative so you're partly wide awake, and partly asleep, I individually keep in mind not anything as though I used to be stone bloodless asleep. One minute I used to be speaking to the general practitioner, and the following minute I used to be commencing my eyes and he mentioned it used to be accomplished. The enjoy used to be as though it on no account occurred to me. Totally painless and not anything to worry. Now so far as the blood to your stools and all of the signs you informed us approximately, it does now not have got to be melanoma in any respect. Three matters that come to brain are Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohns disorder and Ulcerative Colitis, all of which can be very uncomfortable main to a viable life of healing however now not critical existence threatening. Good good fortune and keep in mind it is no gigantic deal!

Get off of Yahoo answers and go to the ER immediately. If you think something is wrong, there very well could be. Our bodies are pretty good at letting us know something isn't right, and this sounds like something that should be checked out ASAP.

And if you wait a week as Katzy said to do, this terrible diarrhea could cause serious dehydration and many other problems. So, don't wait to get checked out.

Sounds like you ate something bad. Well, maybe the operation opened up the colon more than before and things are being eliminated quicker than before. Don't panic I think it is quite common for your body and your intestines to get back to normal. Give it a week.
