How to look more mature?

I am currently a freshmen in high school and my boyfriend is a senior. I want to look more mature, more of a sophomore or a junior than a freshmen. I've known him for about four years already and he doesn't really mind the age difference. However, he is very popular among girls and sometimes I feel like a little kid amongst those girls. Can anyone give me tips to acting more mature, being more confident, and possibly looking a bit older than I am now? People have said that I looked about two years older than my age but I don't really know. Thanks for all your answers.

Do your makeup properly! If you are an older teen...OR an ADULT, you'll be able to wear more makeup. If you are under 15 or 16,you will look just a little strange with all that Eye Liner, Eye Shadow, Lip Stick, and all that on. You will probably be able to wear pale eyeshadow, lip gloss, and foundation. If you are a older teen or adult, you can wear whatever you'd like. Wearing French Manicures will also make you look more mature.

Dress maturely! If you wear over sized T-shirt's that say 'TROUBLE' or 'HOTTIE' across them, that would look like so weird. Try wearing a pretty dress if you are going someplace special. If it's just a casual day at school or a stay home day, you can dress casual. Like a pair of jeans and a fitted T-shirt.

And for the shoes, try CONVERSE if it's a stay home day. Or sneakers. Or if you are just going out shopping, Sneakers or Converse or Flip Flops are fine too.

If you are going to someplace special, wear High Heels, Flats, ect...

For your hair, do NOT wear High Pigtails! LOW Pigtails are fine. Keep it simple and cute. Try a messy bun, low ponytail, or just keep it down long! You can also try to curl it, crimp it, straighten it, ect... But make sure your hair doesn't look greasy or messy, if it does, you might want to wash it. DO NOT PUT TOO MUCH STUFF IN IT! If you do, it will look greasy and dirty and wet. Try just a little hairspray or frizz spray. That is all you need. Just be careful with how much products you put in it.

Be the mature one. Do you have a little brother or sister that is always whining, crying, screaming, fighting, ect...? When you look at him or her out in public OR at home, what do YOU think when you see your sibling do that? It looks strange. Or, if you don't have ANY siblings. Let's say you see an 8 year old out whining and crying over nothing? How do you think that kid looks? DO NOT act that way! Be polite and say 'Excuse me' when passing someone or reaching over someone. And say 'Certainly' if someone is passing you and says 'Excuse me'. Also, say 'Please' and 'Thank you'. Forgive someone if they were cruel to you.

DO NOT talk all high pitched and little kid like. That's just weird. Talk like a young lady.

You must be doing something right. Perhaps just some self-confidence in the fact he chose you and for you to drastically change the way you are or look just to keep his attention will probably end up pushing him away.

He obviously likes you the way you are! Why change now? Change will happen in due time. Just check out how the older girls behave around him, and take mental notes.
