Why do you use your mobile phone to chat to your friends when it's heaps cheaper to use the home phone.

In my country, the public phone services is very bad.
So we always use mobile phone, it can reach direct to the person, more cheaper and it is mobile, no wire and can use in any places

My answer is probably the same as a lot of other people's answers ... that is, the fact that I live in a remote rural area and basically all of my phone calls would be "long-distance" on my land-line. The only reason I even have a land-line is because of my Internet.

my mobile phone plan has unlimited minutes so it costs whether I call people or not. the landline is just for internet. only telemarketers call on the landline.
