Is Marilyn Manson a band or a soloist?
I always hear people say "I love his music", but there are other members in Marilyn Manson.
I know that he is the only member who has stayed permanently and members change all the time. But is Marilyn Manson regarded as a band or just a solo man.

It's a band.
It used to be called Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids, but then they changed it to just Marilyn Manson in 1990.
It's a band, but since it's only Marilyn Manson's name, people see it as just the singer.

Sad, but never shocking, when a person whose drug use has gotten him into trouble over the years is found dead. I expect the findings will be an OD. He was 39, and a talented musician, regardless of what people think of Marilyn Manson's music or public persona. What a waste.

Band, but Manson is the songwriter and front man. The band often switches members for tours.

Its a band. He was famous for being him so the band probably thought it was best to stick with his name as the name of the band. I am almost positive that his band member are very regular as in they are switch just as much as any other band switches, only when someone quits or is kicked out

Definitely a band. It´s just more common to identify with HIM because that´s HIS name.
A lot of people probably don´t even know that it is actually a BAND instead of one guy. Oh well.
