How do I remove the Power Steering Pump Pulley on a Ford?
Please be a Ford Tech or have done it yourself if you answer this. I have a 1998 Expedition but most 5.4 or 4.6 have the same set-up. Specifically does the 8 mm allen bolt need to be removed? or does the pulley just press off?

You will need to buy/rent/borrow a "Power Steering Pump Pulley Puller", They sell for about 18 dollars at most parts stores.

If it has the groove in the pulley hub its just pressed on. There is a special tool for this that is fairly universal, fits lots of makes and models over the years so they are fairly easy to find and not that expensive. Many parts stores rent the tools, many for free.
