Computer Question The computer time in bottom right side of screen does not keep up with acutal time.?

Have home vista IE8 . Bottom right hand corner shows time. Such as 1:00PM or 11:00AM or whatever. When I shut down for the day or set machine on sleep mode for a while, the time does not keep up. Turn machine back on and the time is 3 hours behind. Never happended before when I used IE7. How do I cure this minor problem?

click on the time and select change data and time settings.

check the time zone is correct and you have set to Auto update the time.

If the time is turning back even if you have a correct time zone the reason can be a weak Cmos battery. In this case you have to replace the battery.

    hope this helps.
