i took cream cheese out to soften it but forgot it over night. should i still use it?

You could chance it but it is a relatively inexpensive item so I think I would toss it and buy a fresh one especially if you are serving to children or guests.

No, ew! If something have been taken outta the refrigerator on the food market and positioned on a SHELF someplace among the cans of soup for 9 hours might you purchase it?! you need to grant somebody nutrients poisoning!x

It's bad, don't eat it. Throw it away. After four hours of being at room temperature its crawling with bad bacteria that can make you very sick.

Most likely it isint good. a simple taste or smell could provide you with a better answer.
