What daily good deeds can people do to 'make a difference'?
I'm creating a kind of 'do something good' site - what kind of daily things could people do to make a difference?
Example:
Buy the big issue
Donate some change to charity
Shop in a charity store
Volunteer

May I suggest that if you are creating a web site that you explain each of your "good deeds" a little more.
Example:
Pull shopping carts out of parking places at supermarkets.
One hazard of parking lots are the carts that are left all over the place. Sure the supermarket sends out a kid once in a while to round them up, but in the meantime, just parking at a distance from the store front gives you the probably needed exercise and while you are walking just grab a cart (or two) on the way and bring them back to the store. AND when you are finished, don't forget to take your own cart back to one of the outdoor racks.
Don't forget to include online charity sites such as http://freerice.com/ and http://www.goodsearch.com/

Volunteer at the local food pantry, soup kitchen, domestic abuse shelter, or homeless shelter. Read at the library, have a story hour. Read at the local hospital in the waiting room. Help at the animal shelter or humane society.
If you can't do that; have a food drive; "Oodles of Noodles" is a pasta drive that is usually very successful for the food pantry. Collect new toothbrushes and hairbrushes for the domestic abuse shelter. Collect blankets, hats, gloves for the homeless shelter. Collect used blankets and towels for the animal shelter.
The need is great; the opportunities are endless.
