Has anyone had nausea for a week or two after having Mirena inserted?
I got the Mirena IUD inserted about a week ago and ever since then I have been crazy nauseous (but only at night). I haven't had any other weird side effects just this one.
I have a followup appointment with my doctor in another week so if this is still going on I will ask him about it then but has anyone else been in this boat?

This is caused by hormonal imbalance and it should go away after a period of time. When ever your body receive a new drug, it takes time for your body "get used to" the new material.
I think this is normal for many women and yes, it is a good idea to see the doc just to be safe.
