I have a toilet with a different toilet part inside the tank. Please help (see below for details).?

It is not a typical ball & cock flap but rather and accordian-shaped part in the middle of the tank. The hols is about 3 1/4 inches wide and is located in the middle of the tank (on the inside). What kind of plunging mechanism is this? Also, if you have a website where I can buy a replacemt part for ir I would really appreciate it! Thank you!!!!

See if you can find the brand of the toilet. The manufacturer's name usually appears somewhere on the enamel. If you find the name, do an internet search for repair parts for it. Sometimes you can use some generic parts for these "strange" toilets. Sometimes you just have to call a plumber though they might tell you it's time for a new toilet.
