Is a man's love greater than the love of Allah?

How many parents would not love their children even when they did wrong?

God's love for us is unconditional. God is love. God loved us even though we sinned against him.

God's love is unconditional.. even though we sinned God provided his own flesh and blood to save us from our sin.

Why is the love of a parent greater than the love of Allah?

3:32 Say: "Obey Allah and His Apostle": But if they turn back, Allah loveth not those who reject Faith.

28:77 "But seek, with the (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on thee, the Home of the Hereafter, nor forget thy portion in this world: But do thou good, as Allah has been good to thee, and seek not (occasions for) mischief in the land: For Allah loves not those who do mischief."

Shouldn't the love of a perfect God be greater than the love of man?

Update:

This says Allah does not love those who do mischief. So is the true of Muslim parents when their children commit mischief? Wow it's cool if you decide not to love our children because they commit mischief? Seriously? You're good with that?

Update 2:

Muhammad, the point of deleting my own question? Perhaps you don't like the answer?

Update 3:

Ruchjat K, Like it or not I quote the Quran.. Allah does nto love everyone and his love is conditional.

That is the teaching of the Quran.. saying it is not true does not change what Allah says in the Quran.

Update 4:

Be Good, If I come to the light, would that be to reject the Quran? Because I am quoting the Quran.

Update 5:

Sad Forever, I do read the Quran, now can you answer my question? The Quran says Allah does not love pepople who commit mischief. Most fit parents love their children even when they disobey.

Are we more loving than Allah?

Update 6:

1 John 4:

7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

9In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might alive through him.

10Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

11Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Mat. 5:

44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Corruption?

Update 7:

1 John 4:

7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Update 8:

Spiderman, What is it that is offending you? I am quoting the Quran, why are you offended by Allah's teaching? Should we ignore the teachings of the Quran?

Update 9:

Obviously this teaching from the Quran offends you. I'm not the one saying Allah does not love those who commit mischief.. it is Allah. Why is your anger directed at me?

Update 10:

Sad Forever, thanks, but now I have to ask.. if a man loves his children even when they commit mischief.. why does Allah not love us even when we commit mischief? Shouldn't Allah's love be greater than the love of a man for his children?

Update 11:

Strong, due the fact that we have had many discussions I am aware of the fact that you know the text of the Quran was changed many times. That being the case you would logically be aware that what you memorize is probably not exactly what Muhammad received as revelation. The Bible does not command anyone to drink poison, it speaks to God's protection, and we know the disciples by the power of God laid hands on and healed the sick.. is that too hard for Allah?

Update 12:

Blitz, there are many ayats in the Quran that says Allah does not love those who do not follow Islam or commit mischief..ect.. saying this is not true is simply disagreeing with your god.

Update 13:

Strong, the disciples were followers of Jesus Christ, They did heal the diseased, Paul was bitten by a serpent and was not harmed, read the Bible my friend it's in there. Goldie and I share the same faith in the same God. We believe in Jesus Christ who teaches us to love one another because God is Love. Jesus suffered on the cross because he loves us all. The God of Abraham loves us all.

The Allah of Islam does not. Why is this?

Good question/comment, DJ. Aside -- it would be more effective if it were shorter. Your text is good, but people won't read it if it looks too long. Blogs are better for that, and you can reference a blog post from here. I find that people do read those -- they expect them to be a little bit longer. So . . . hell is a problem for us as Christians because for many years and especially since Augustine the church has held to a pagan view of hell. It's probable that Muhammad got his ideas of hell from Augustinians when he was traveling with his uncle's caravan as a boy. As you most likely know, the word 'hell' (or a Greek word of comparable meaning) is not found in scripture. Descriptions of the lake of fire in RevJohn are most reasonably taken as symbolic considering the apocalyptic genre of the book. You sound like an Arminian or at least a Calv-Arminian (which is kind of self contradictory, though that's where I was for years). IMO, both the Calvs and the Arms are right about some things. The Arms know that God loves all people and that He desires all people to be saved. The Calvs know that God is all powerful and can accomplish anything He desires and that He will always do the best He can for those He loves. I know that saving all while not violating their free will is something that, logically, God CAN do. It is a thing that can be done given unlimited time and the ability to heal irrationality, bitterness, lack of information, etc. Jesus died for all, and all sin has been paid for. There is no reason or justification to punish anyone at all since the sins have been covered. There IS however reason for remedial chastisement in order to instruct and conform beloved children to the image of Christ. Paul said on Mars Hill that we are all His offspring. He was talking to a non-Christian audience when He said this. There are various degrees of being "children of God" in that some are minor children (teknon) still in need of a governor (law) while others have matured enough to be considered heirs (Romans 8 -- huios). The duty of the elder children includes shepherding the younger and helping them to become more and more responsible. Terrifying them with cautionary tales such as a fiery hell where they will be tormented forever by the Father (who they assure the children, loves them unconditionally) if they don't fall in line. Whether we believe this or not, it is quite simply a lie. Most atheists can spot this as irrational. Why can't we?

Cause Allah knows the future and our parents dont. Meaning, that Allah swt does love you now, at this very moment, why? cause he knows that you will reach a certain age and then submit to his decreed religion, Islam. therefore, there is no reason for him to hate you. Nevertheless, and even if you are destined to die as a Christian, that will not keep the blessings of Allah from being bestowed upon you, Allah will not stop granting you sight, hearing, good look, food, nice family, money, certificates, rewarding job, devout wife, nice car....etc. Why? Cause he CARES about you, cause he WANTS you to be saved, your parent's love wont do you any good in this short life, only Allah's guidance would benefit you.

There is nothing in the Quran that offends. Quran is The Most Powerful scripture on earth bcoz it has never been tampered the way was done with Bible. Still Quran is being memorized and shall continue to, whereas this is not the case with Bible. Not a single Bible memorizor in whole world. Thumbing down wont solve your problem. You need to get down to earth and check the authenticity of your Bible. Every Muslim on earth has memorized Quran to some extent, some chapters and many has memorized full Quran. Did you yourself has memorize any Bible chapter?

Beforets questioning other faith & belief, its a good idea to check Bible, where it teachs to Drink deadly drink, handling the snakes and healing the sick for those who believe in my name and also God rested after creation. :)

    djmantx

Bible clearly claims That those WHO believe in my name, the verse never talks about disciples, the verse clearly says: THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN MY NAME. Verse clearly talks about believers and yet you claim Bible has not been tampered.

You claim to be a true believer. Yeah?

Try drinking a deadly drink. I know you wont drink it bcoz you surely know the consequences. Right?

Either you are not a true believer Or Bible has been tampered. Tell us which is the case?

Read what user "Goldielocks" wrote, she is contradicting Bible, She is contradicting you. You know, you guys have no common stand point NOT even on Bible and yet you claim Bible has not been tampered.

Obeying Parent means obeying Allah unless they are asking you to do unblissful things and the contrary disobeying parent means disobeying Allah .

Read the holly Quran well my bro.

Source(s): I'm sorry bro if i were rude to you So i think the love of parent to their children or the other way round should not be greater than the love of Allah .In addition, parent who hates their kids beause they are not obedient or not well-behaved is not logical as well .parent who supplicate against their own kids are cursed and ofcourse the vic versa. Who told you that Allah would stop loving us if we commited bad deeds ,this is nonesense ,Allah's mercy has no limit ,unless you keep doing sins and you're aware that Allah SWT hate such deeds nevetheless you insists on going on commiting wrong things ,in doing so ,you are deviating from Allah and his Prophite path ,,this called " defiance of Allah's order" !! then what would you expect from Allah SWT ,,,but you can alway invocate Allah for forgivness and He will certainly accept your Invocation as long as you regreted it .

Of Course Allah's love is greater than man's. Come to the light for your betterment and best future. Disbelief in Allah is darkness and ignorance. :D

Assalamu alaikum. We muslims should love Allah swt and Muhamnmad pbuh more than loving ourselves as recommended by Allah in the Qur'an.That is why man's love should not be greater than we love Allah. If we love Allah,Allah will love us greater than we love Allah..If we come close to Allah,Allah will come closer to us. Yes Allah loves us unconditional .Allah will love anyone (rahman) although he/she hates Allah The love of a parents is the love from Allah too so their love is not greater than the love of Allah

In Islam Justice over rules Love, one can sacrifice all his loved ones for the sake of Islam and true justice, Umer bin Khataab ra. lashed his own son when he commited adultry.

Criminal mind parents keep on loving their children who keep on doing wrong, Allah swt. is All-Pure Doesn't like wrong deeds. Also don't love doesn't means hate.

    Edit

Because you later on delete your question and don't care the answers.. so no more detailed answers.
