How do i get my computer to recognize Chinese?
Okay so i know that i need the disc to input the east Asian languages but every one i ask says that it will just put my default language as Chinese. I would like for all of my desktop items and other things on my computer to be in English. However i do want to be able to see Chinese characters and be able to type Chinese characters.
Any help?

Go to start, control pannel, then push date, time, languages.. then it'll give you an option to add a language. Then when you type in english it'll recognize it and when you type in chinese characters it'll recognize it as well.

Hi,
you don't need any disk. just simply right click on "language bar" on task bar -> choose settings-> click on "add" button -> in "input language" choose chinese -> ok -> ok.
good luck
