96 Nissan Maxima Mass Airflow Sensor?
My MAF sensor is bad (according to my engine light)
It happend a week after I bought the car so I don't know if these
are the symptoms?
HORRIBLE gas milleage
Poor start ups
engine jumping after I turn car on
poor acceleration??
Also, would this be hard to change myself?
I found the part for like 90 bucks but the dealer
and mechanics want like 600 bucks!
Please help and give any advice that you can =)

Follow your air box to the motor until you find a box that has wires plugged in it. It should have a screen on both ends to help protect the censor inside. The censor looks like a needle (kinda) But you can put it in it's not hard at all just remember where what wires go where, and if you cant find it then buy the new one and you will see what it looks like and then you can replace it. Caution this part should not be cleaned with anything but what the oem spec calls for it could harm it and also do not drop it or you will end up buying a new one. But save money and put it in yourself.

MAF sensor voltage below 4 volts wide open throttle will cause the symptoms listed above. Easy enough for the DIY to change out. If you can get a good sensor in the salvage yard.
