Fantasy Football Keepers (specifically yahoo)?

Okay, how do they work? My real question is; can you only keep a player you originally drafted, say, if I drafted Kenny Britt in the seventh round, but dropped him. Could I still keep him, or would I keep the player I picked up for him in the seventh round instead? Can you keep players that you pick up on waivers that you never originally drafted but are on your team to close the year?

Your question is confusing. Fantasy football has specific players who are on the "do not cut list" These are designated by yahoo. Usually these are the top 100 ranked fantasy players (I.E, Peyton Manning, Chris Johnson, Adrian Peterson, M. Jones-Drew etc). If you want to drop one of those players the commissioner needs to change this within his commissioner tools.

Once you drop a player they are no longer on your roster. When you drop you cannot keep them because you are dropping them. If you pick up a player on from a waiver you can keep them as long as you like. If you are un-pleased with their fantasy production you can drop them anytime you want.
