If Allah gave us what we deserved, would the entire world be destroyed?

Q.16:61. If Allah were to punish men for their wrong-doing, He would not leave, on the (earth), a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: When their Term expires, they would not be able to delay (the punishment) for a single hour, just as they would not be able to anticipate it (for a single hour).

Q.35:45. If Allah were to punish men according to what they deserve. He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His Servants.

If Allah is a righteous God he will give to the world what it deserves right? Sounds like Muhammad understood the need for a Savior. Yet you are taught there is none. So what is the Quranic answer to the problem?

Update:

. It would mean that he paid the penalty for you. The Quran says it is your destruction. So you believe Jesus died for you?

Update 2:

Joseph the Second, the Quran says destruction is what you deserve do you know more than your Allah?

Update 3:

. How does that make Isa your Savior?

Update 4:

Muhammad, your Quran says if we get what we deserve the world would be destroyed..No one would be left alive. So his judgement says you deserve to be destroyed. So is Allah not righteous?

Update 5:

. That is my point. Muslims don't believe they need a Savior. Allah says you have earned destruction. So who is right?

Update 6:

Gento, if you understand the Quran it says you dessrve to be destroyed, if Jesus saved you then he was destroyed.. the Quran says that did not happen.. so are you telling me you don't believe the Quran?

Update 7:

Kevin, Jn:8:44: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

The Quran actually says Allah is the greatest of makr. Might be one of the few times the Bible and Quran agree.

Update 8:

Al Sharif, is he not righteous? If his mercy is against his own righteous judgment then you must think him unrighteous.

Update 9:

The respite does not save you, he says he gives you this respite and then the judgment. Of course if his judgement is already that you should be destroyed what other judgment could there be?

Update 10:

Muslims, if all ever born on he earth even infants deserve the destruction of the world.. and Allah is not wrong.. then how are good deeds going to save you.. how is Allah's mercy going to save you.. unless you think Allah goes against his own righteous judgment? How will you be saved?

Update 11:

Strong, Luke 4:9-13, So do you agree with this teaching of Satan?

Update 12:

Strong, perhaps you are Muslim because you do not understand what you read. What did Satan dare Jesus to do? What was Jesus' answer to Satan? Seems to me you are agreeing with Satan right?

Update 13:

Strong yes the verse speaks of believers and yes you are still misinterpreting the verse as you are not understanding Luke 4:9-13.

Update 14:

Muhammad, the Quran does not say you have a quality to be destroyed, it says you have earned your destruction. So does Allah give you according to what you deserve?

Update 15:

Inam, He would not leave, on the (earth), a single living creature: Your answer seems to say only some people..If Allah is a righteous God he will give to the world what it deserves right? So if Allah is not wrong your deeds can not save you.. and unless Allah is going to go against his own righteous judgment you can't be saved.

I am late for the answer. The verse u quoted is clear. You see majority of people living in this world disobey Allah Almighty but it is His mercy that He does not catch them instantly but gives them time to repent. He is a rightous God and would always do the right.

You amazes me sometimes. Are you telling us up until now you still don't know that Muslims sees Jesus as savior?

Yes mate. Know the Good News. Prophet Isa a.s is the Savior for all Mankind. ;) Prophet Muhammad s.a.w was the MERCY for all mankind and creatures. ;)

Edit: Err.. dont worry.. you will come back and ask the same questions again and again and again.

    ===========================

Who has created the seven heavens one above another, you can see no fault in the creations of the Most Beneficent. Then look again: "Can you see any rifts?"

Then look again and yet again, your sight will return to you in a state of humiliation and worn out.

    Qur'an 67:3,4

This I wrote in your previous post, that punishment is not the main objective of Allah swt. but to guide perfectly, stage by stage as per mental growth process of a person, as maturity develops stage by stage, if someone even though doesn't want to learn and remains proud of sins, evil deeds, then Allah swt. punishes as he/she deserves.

    Edit

We Muslims don't believe Issa pbuh (Jessus) was died, still alive and shall return back with same body, soul and Self (Nafs).

This worldly life is just a training and testing camp temporarily arranged before to real eternal life of afterlife begin.

    Edit2

Muslims believe Allah swt. Himself as the Most Forgiving and Merciful, Muhammad pbuh will be allowed on day of Judgement to do shafa'at for the sin full but still some part of faith they would have.. not for totally Disbelievers. No one except will of Allah can be a savior of sinful people.

.(2:255) ......(Man zalla ze yashfa'u a'enda'hu ella bi'izni).....[part of holy verse]

the is difference in to be or have destroyed.

If I have a quality to kill someone, it does not mean I'm a killer unless I kill.

Allah swt. All Capable to do any thing, but What Shall HE do or not all depends upon His Wisdom and All Mighty Will.

If I have quality to throw in dust bin, all my money in my pocket, will I do that also??.

Go try deadly drink as per Mark 16-17-18, then come back here to prove us your truth. Dare trying? Yeah?

    Djmantx

I have read Luke 4:9-13. I am NOT testing God. I am just quoting your Bible, bcoz Mark 16-17-18 talks about believers NOT disciples Or Jesus pbuh.

Those who believe in my name if they drink deadly drink, it will not hurt them. Right?

You think you are a believer BUT you don't dare to try what Bible says?

So, you are not a true believer? HAHAAAA

Go pick BA of St.Augustine of Hippo. lol

    @St.Augustine of Hippo & djmantx

    Thanks for correction.

Mark 16-17-18 clearly speaks about believers. Last i checked, I think i can read & understand english, thanks God it was not Herbew. Anyways. i am again emphasizing that verse clearly speaks about BELIEVERS.......THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN MY NAME. RIGHT?

    Am i misquoting verse here?

Honestly tell me: can you guys dare to drink deadly drink? Yes?

    No, you can't!

Can you Or any random believer heal a sick?

    No, you cant!

Can all believers handle the snakes?

No, they can't except for few professionals and those can be from any religion.

This verse contradicts the laws of nature.

None of the believers can dare to drink deadly drink.........bocz they know the consequences of drinking deadly drink.....

Does giving thumb down proves Bible's authenticity...........LOL

Ummm.. our Saviour IS JESUS CHRIST. We do believe Jesus was/is the Messiah, and that he will have a 2nd coming. That doesn't make him God incarnate though :I

    "Qu'ran 3:45 Behold! the angel said: "O Mary! God giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, the Messiah, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to God;

Mary said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: God createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, 'Be,' and it is!

"And God will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel,

    "And (appoint him) an apostle to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God's leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by God's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;

"'(I have come to you), to attest the Law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (Before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord."

    ------------------

How does that imply "paying the penalty?"

Muslims don't believe that a Messiah has to shed his blood to "save" us. We don't believe in original sin and certainly not blood or human sacrifice for sin or bearing the sins of others. We take responsibility of our own actions. Frankly, the consumption of the symbolic blood (communion) makes us shiver.. *shiver* :I

-Quite the Contrary! We'd continue to get EXACTLY what We're getting NOW. Because what you see around the World Today, -is Exactly what we're "Asking For." And until we "Know Better"- THIS is what we "Deserve" ! :o
