is it possible to contact the abuse team to query why an account is closed?
my other yahoo email account has been blocked for apparent breach of clause 6 ???
i have been calling customer care and emailing with an alternative email to try to find out what the problem is...i have a good idea but can`t get any response from or get a direct way of contacting the abuse team...it appears i left computer logged into yahoo and a drunken 3rd party used this to post some answes but cant remember what he wrote...............i cannot find out either so cannot deal with this..
lesson learned if you log into your email and dont physically log out another user can get into other sites or groups as you are still logged into yahoo...

The problem here is that you as the account owner are responsible for your account, and if somebody else gets into it and posts some drunken, maybe abusive stuff, Yahoo will not restore your account, even if you explain the situation. You could however still try and find out what is going on, but there is no guaranty it will help. Here's what to do: send a mail describing your problem to account-security-help@cc.yahoo-inc.com. Or call Yahoo: 1-408-349-1572, explain to a customer service person what happened.
