Seems some economist are projecting a financial meltdown for California in?

about 18-24 months unless bare bones austerity or massive federal bailouts are pursued.

Will we see riots like Europe? Will austerity measures be accepted by the citizens of California? Will the rest of the country pay for lavish social programs they themselves don't receive?

Thoughts?

Thank you.

158 billion in debt and overspending every year.. looks already to have started. They promise the moon and then chase the jobs out as fast as they can raise taxes. Not sure who is paying for their beers as the richest guy doesn't go to the bar with them after they beat him up.

Really? That long? Seems like they're already in pretty deep.

We should not bail them out. They should learn to live on their budget.
