Why didn't the bulls fall apart after Micheal Jordan(AKA God in basketball shoes) left?

93/94 , 57-25

that's why Scottie Pippen is one of the most underrated players in the NBA...he is proven that he can lead a team maybe not to a championship but good sufficiently to the playoffs.....the bulls did really bad after jordan's retirement in after his retirement in 97....... then in the 98 they did so bad they got into the nba draft lottery where they picked up the first pick *Elton Brand*.... and even with Brand they never made it to the playoffs ......

One man can be a crucial ingredient on a team, but one man cannot make a team

Those words are true. Jordan is the GOAT but he had a TEAM and that's why that TEAM was good enough with and without him. It's like KG was injured but the Celtics, the great TEAM that they are, made it far enough to take the 2nd seed in the east to 7 games.
